2025 APAC Sustainability Edition

For the 2025 Sustainability Edition, we are seeking sustainable APAC startups who want to innovate, grow, and get real-world feedback on their products and solutions.

Our collaborative, pilot-oriented program is designed to accelerate the growth of sustainable innovators. We support early-stage startups with a grant and the opportunity to pilot in PepsiCo’s value chain, as well as ongoing mentorship from PepsiCo experts.

Applications will be open from January 9 to March 13, 2025.

Innovate and Grow with PepsiCo

We help innovative, sustainable startups to accelerate through close collaboration with PepsiCo. We are looking for early-stage startups that are looking for support to build resilient models, scale faster, and optimize for impact. Finalists will be chosen for their transformative solutions focused on circular economy, climate action, and sustainable agriculture.

What is the Greenhouse Accelerator?

We are a grant-based accelerator program in APAC that aims to help startups build innovations that solve sustainability challenges through mentorship and a pilot-based program. The program offers the opportunity to collaborate with and learn from PepsiCo as a corporate end user.

FAQ

  • Pre-revenue up to $7M USD in sales in the last financial year
  • Have business operations in one of the participating APAC region markets (China, Singapore, Thailand, Australia, Indonesia, New Zealand, Brunei, Cambodia, East Timor, Fiji, Japan, Korea, Laos, Malaysia, Mongolia, Myanmar, Pacific Islands, Papua New Guinea, Philippines, Vietnam)
  • Be willing to work with PepsiCo Greenhouse Accelerator mentors and attend Accelerator events throughout the April to September program
  • Agree to the Terms and Conditions

Our selection committee will choose finalists based on the following refreshed criteria:

  • Innovation: Across the areas of Circular Economy, Climate Action, and Sustainable Agriculture, we will be looking for specific requirements. Please see Our Focus Areas on the website.
  • Partnership: Applicants must have a working prototype, ownable IP and up to $7m in revenue
  • Impact: Must be a viable, scalable solution with an impact on PepsiCo’s pep+ goals of RCBR, virgin plastic reduction, recycled content, regenerative agriculture, and/or climate targets.
  • Diversity: We are aiming for the cohort to be 50/50 male and female applicants, as well as having balanced geographical diversity.

We have a diverse range of PepsiCo mentors from across the business located in various divisions and geographies. The final list of mentors will depend on the nature of the finalists—the program team aims to match mentors most suited to the business needs of startup participants. A committee comprised of PepsiCo leaders and program advisors will review all submissions.

Each finalist will receive a 20,000 USD equity-free grant. This is a one-time payment and is granted in order to support operations and help launch and/or scale their innovations.  

PepsiCo’s Greenhouse Accelerator program is a no equity, no cash cost program.   

However, some startups may need to supplement travel stipends in order to attend certain events and aspects of the program.  

The 2025 program will launch in April and conclude in September.

While a pilot is not guaranteed, the program will aim to help you unlock potential pilot and partnership opportunities to test and scale your solution​.
